Yesterday I came to know that my special agreement is at my boss and only needs my signature on it … that is the reason that it is official now that I go to Uganda next year.

Hello all together,

I’m back from tropical doctor.

Today I were vaccinated against yellow fever and hepatitis A. So I’m a step forward in my preparation.

My family doctor needs to check if I need another vaccination for hepatitis B.

Beginning 2008 I go back to the tropical doctor to get the vaccination for meningitis and typhus.
And then I need to think about the malaria prophylaxis. If I want to take it or not. I tend to take the prophylaxis, which I will already test in Germany. The doctor means that it can have serious side effects, but if I can’t tolerate it, it will show in the first two weeks. The prophylaxis needs to be taken once the week.

That’s for today.

I want to bring something with me for the kids and that is also appreciated, I need to think about it as well. I would be glad if you could help me here a little bit.

At first a money donation is eligible. With the money I will buy something for the foster home or I will give it to the home father, because he knows where it is needed. Of course I will report about this.

Then I am happy about donations in kind. But please ask me ahead, because I need to transport it and I need to check if it is needed.

Like some of you may know, I will go to Jinja (Uganda) in about 10 months.
There I will help as a volunteer in a orphanage for 3,5 months.
